Before I begin ranting about the game, League of Legends, I have to first tell you what it is. So League of Legends is a MOBA(Multiplayer online battle arena), which is a genre that consists of 10 players, 5 on each side whose goal is to reach ones goal, the nexus, and destroy it.
There is a huge community that plays the game, and quite a lot of people in our school, UA Maker. Therefore, there is a huge amount of competition. There is a ranking system that allows players worldwide to see how to stand up to other players within their servers. There are hundreds of thousands of players everyday that try to climb to the top, or end up in bronze. There is even a yearly worldwide tournament where the best of the best teams face off for the top spot and huge prize winnings that reach thousands of dollars.
